  • Story telling as strategy (this will be your greatest strength that sets you and content apart from others because only YOU can tell your story)

  • Overcomplicating systems (instead of just picking one and starting today)

Reflections:

• The ultimate goal is Christ glorified.

  • Philippians 3:14,8-21: As we build our businesses and care for our families, the highest goal is to glorifying Christ, not build our own kingdoms or make a name for ourselves. As we set goals, we keep eternity and legacy in mind.

• ‘Doing it all’ is a myth.

  • There is not perfect balance for home life and creative careers. We do not strive for perfection but rather excellence and obedience.

• Prioritize what matters most.

  • What burdens do you carry that God does not require of you?

  • What needs to be done, dropped, or delegated from your load?

• Focus on Truth over trends.

  • Proverbs 31: As wives and mothers, we are not called to be a 1950s housewife or a high-earning “girl boss.” But rather, godly womanhood includes industrious work, strong work ethic, service and care for the home and the poor (community), providing for the household, and displaying strength, while trusting God.

  • Titus 2: Being “keepers at home” or “workers at home” means caring for the well-being of the home and its residents without neglecting their spiritual or practical needs.
